Capacity Building
The NECSC is creating information resources and will pursue training, education and policy initiatives to build the capacity of public officials and private development professionals to construct energy- and resource-efficient communities.
Participation of universities in NECSC research, outreach, and training activities will ensure that the principles that guide NECSC will become incorporated into university-based curriculum. This will provide continuity and will help build a critical mass of stakeholders committed to sustainable communities in the regions where NECSC works
